Families are being left without support after a suicide – and it’s causing more deaths
Those bereaved by suicide have a 65 per cent increased risk of taking their own lives. So why is there not more funding for support after tragedy strikes?
Mark Fortune is facing 89 criminal charges including unlawful eviction and harassment of tenants, theft, threatening or abusive behaviour, fraud, and extortion.
The 55-year-old man attended a hearing at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on 28 May and made no plea.
Fortune now faces 36 charges under legislation relating to unlawful eviction and harassment, 35 charges of theft, and 10 under legislation relating to threatening or abusive behaviour.
He also faces three charges each for fraud and attempted extortion, and two each for extortion and attempted fraud.
Fortune was released on bail and will appear in court at a later date.
